For over 20 years, Oadby DIY (originally Out-Town Supplies) has been servicing the DIY/Garden needs of customers in Oadby. Following a re-vamp in 1999, the increased product range has attracted consumers from all around Leicestershire.
The Mica Hardware Connection
Until 2009, we were members of Mica Hardware, a national group made up of independent DIY and Hardware stores who work together to achieve the buying power usually associated with the superstores. In recent years our strong links with the Fair & Square trading organisation and the British Hardware Federation have enabled us to offer a wider range of ever more competitively-priced products to satisfy the needs of our discerning customers.
Owner Managed
We are proud that “The guy who owns the store, runs the store”, so we can respond more quickly to customers’ needs and satisfy special requests for non-stocked products. As an independent, our valued staff are an integral part of the store, and are selected to provide the personal service and friendly advice that is usually lacking in a typical DIY superstore.
